Angelina Lauro Cruise Ship

MS Oranje later known as Angelina Lauro was a passenger liner a wartime hospital ship and finally a cruise ship that was burnt out and subsequently lost while being towed for scrap.

Shortly afterwards Lauro also bought the Oranje and renamed her Angelina Lauro.

MS Achille Lauro was a cruise ship based in Naples Italy. Cabin was so small. Angelina Lauro finally re-entered service from Europe to Australia and New Zealand in 1966.

They were the Cunard Countess. In 1978 Angelina Lauro was chartered to Costa. Virgin Islands a fire broke out suddenly in her aft galley and it rapidly spread.

There was a second Angelina Lauro that sailed for StarLauro in 1989-1991 She was the charted greek cruise ship Arcadia.
